The OSA thus far has provided a platform for immigrant Odias to celebrate our culture, a forum to maintain our friendship and share our experience, and has continuouslyTa strived to connect the spread-out Odia diaspora in North America. It is time that such activities are strengthened and initiatives are taken to address new challenges.

My Vision
My association with OSA started at the 1993 convention in Michigan, where two of us from Columbia, Missouri presented a dance performance. That convention also sowed the seed for the future community organization, SEEDS that was later registered as a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin by three graduate students including me. Later, I served as OSA souvenir editor for 2004 and 2011 conventions and as OSA editor from 2005-2009. I was part of the winning drama team in 2005 OSA convention Promod Patnaik drama competition. I have supported local OSA chapter activities by serving in several OSA-SW chapter election committees, co-organizing and participating in various chapter events.

Qualification
A vote for my team would be a vote for new ideas, more value for your membership and selfless service.
